  Rebooting K-12 Education Technology

What you gain, depending on the level of service requested:

1. A technical audit of your district's IT infrastructure, operations, and technical-academic integration.

  • An evaluation of your district's IT assets and usage as measured by your district goals along with state and national standards.
  • A summary of the successes of and challenges facing district IT operations.
  • A survey of end user satisfaction and technical expertise.

2. Recommendations. With the level of detail and specificity dependent on the amount of time and work you wish to invest in the process, we can develop recommendations for:

  • Streamlining IT operations to more effectively meet the needs of teachers and administrators.
  • Improving network performance, integrity, security, and reliability.
  • Tightening the controls for IT planning and deployment to ensure cost controls, standards, and district goals are managed effectively.

3. A road map for immediate action. We will provide a plan that will guide your district to more effective-and cost-efficient use of Information Technology that includes:

  • A clear set of achievable objectives that tie directly to your district's goals for educational achievement and administrative effectiveness.
  • A matching set of evaluative indicators to measure achievement of objectives.
  • An action plan tied directly to your objectives.

4. A long term strategic technology plan. We will develop a blueprint for handling state reporting requirements, budgeting, grant applications, and follow-on technical performance evaluation.
