IT in Higher Education: A Map for Momentum

What You Gain

Depending on the level of service requested, we will deliver:

1. A technical audit of your institution's IT infrastructure, operations, and technical-academic integration.

  • An evaluation of your campus IT assets and usage as measured by your institutional goals along with comparison with comparable institutions.
  • A summary of the successes of and challenges facing campus IT operations.
  • A survey of end user satisfaction and technical expertise.

2. Recommendations. With the level of detail and specificity dependent on the amount of time and work you wish to invest in the process, we can develop recommendations for:

  • Streamlining IT operations to more effectively meet the needs of faculty, students, and administrators.
  • Improving network performance, integrity, security, accessibility, and reliability.
  • Tightening the process for IT planning and deployment to ensure cost controls, standards, and district goals are managed effectively.

3. A road map for immediate action. We will provide a strategic plan that will guide your institution to more effective-and cost-efficient use of Information Technology that includes:

  • A clear set of achievable objectives that tie directly to your institution's goals for educational achievement and administrative effectiveness.
  • A matching set of evaluative indicators to measure achievement of objectives.
  • An action plan tied directly to your objectives.
