The NCLB Act puts a special emphasis on
determining what educational programs and practices have been
clearly demonstrated to be effective through rigorous scientific
research and districts are required to give teachers access
to high quality, research-based professional development.
The Curriculum
Group will provide this service by planning and facilitating
Collaborative Inquiry Groups for your staff. Our consultants
will lead productive sessions that are built upon collaboration,
reflection, and action.
Our formula for successful collaboration
includes:
Training teachers to participate in site-based
decision making and goal-setting;
Providing an efficient structure for
collecting and analyzing student data;
Supporting ongoing reflection and analysis
of student performance;
Allowing schools to combine state and
federal requirements with district specific goals.
In addition to our support in facilitating
collaborative inquiry groups, Mass Networks consultants will
prepare discussion questions, worksheets, data analysis, and
supplemental resources that will be valuable to the group's
course of action. To learn more about Collaborative
