Who We Are

The main focus of the Curriculum Group is to ensure that districts engage in meaningful, effective and sustainable standards-based curriculum work. Curriculum Group consultants work with district administrators to plan the strategic dissemination of curriculum and determine next steps for supporting educators.

The Curriculum Group offers in-district services and will engage in customized professional development with districts that:

• Have clearly articulated goals and professional development objectives that require deeper strategic planning;
• Are moving towards real standards-based change by supporting their curriculum teams with release time and the necessary resources to make change on-going and sustainable;
• Embrace longer-term planning rather than episodic professional development; and
• Are willing to share their breakthroughs with other districts.

The Curriculum Group is composed of former teachers who have additional training and qualifications in curriculum development, educational technology, and educational administration. Our experience spans a range of disciplines and grade levels, affording us the flexibility and diversity to serve a broad range of consulting needs.
