Participating Schools and Sign-Up Information

More than 700 schools participated in Mass NetDay I on October 26, 1996 or NetDay II on April 5, 1997. Mass NetDay III was held on Saturday October 25, 1997 and brought the number of participating schools to over 900! By the end of the 1997-98 school year, we expect that at least one school in every Massachusetts district will be actively creating, expanding, or using computer networks in some manner.

Since every school is starting from a different place and has different needs and resources, we do not expect everyone to end up with exactly the same accomplishments. However, our goal is to help all participating schools move significantly forward in the process of planning, building, and training educators to use networked computers, while also reaching out to their local community and area businesses for support.
