CLASP
Professional Development |
Through CLASP this year, districts in Massachusetts have two exciting channels for sharing and developing standards-based curriculum.
Regional CLASP Working Groups
A CLASP Working Group is a regional group of districts actively
engaged in standards-based curriculum development and committed
to making a shift in practice. Each district in a Working Group
has access to 32 Working Group professional development events hosted
across the state, even those outside the immediate region of the
district. Print out the registration
form and join the Working Group in your region now!
December 6, 2001 Statewide Curriculum Conference
The theme of this year's conference is Standards-based Assessment: What Can We Learn from Each Other?. Packed with experts from the field of assessment, the exciting agenda addresses critical issues districts are facing right now:
- designing district-wide assessments;
- developing standards-based report cards;
- communicating with parents about standards and standards-based
assessments;
- assessing understanding; and
- leading improvement in standards-based assessment as a principal.
Print out a registration form
and send it in to reserve your space! Registration deadline is
November 9, 2001. We are sorry, but there will be absolutely no
on-site registration allowed on the day of the conference. All participants
must pre-register.
